– Which eSIM should I choose?
We currently offer 2 versions of eSIM’s for your best travel experience:

👉 With Hong Kong IP (the cheaper option):

  • You can use most Western apps (Google, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) without a VPN.

  • Restrictions: Some content is still partially blocked or unstable, e.g. TikTok works to a limited extent with the Hong Kong IP (international version)

👉 With Singapore IP (premium version “SG Location – TikTok ready”):

  • Free Internet with all apps, because your traffic comes from Singapore.

  • This also allows services to run that do not go cleanly via Hong Kong:

    • TikTok (international version – 90% probability, better on iPhone)

    • Full access to streaming (Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, etc.)

    • Western news sites and apps without exceptions

    • Banking apps and PayPal that perform geo-checks

In short:
Hong Kong IP = absolutely sufficient for social media, Google, WhatsApp.
Singapore IP = if you also want to try access to Tiktok (with iPhone), streaming, online banking or want full internet freedom.
